Dr. Deirdre Rhoad

Dr. Deirdre Rhoad owns Rhoad To Beauty and is a board-certified plastic surgeon listed as Deirdre Rhoad, M.D. She is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Medical Specialties in plastic surgery, and has more than 30 years of practice in Austin, Texas. She began practicing plastic surgery in July 1993 with Dr. Frank Morris in Austin. Early on she treated facial lacerations, fractures, hand and wrist lacerations and finger amputations with replantation at Austin-area hospitals. For the past twenty years she has focused entirely on cosmetic plastic surgery.

Her training includes a Bachelor of Arts with honors in microbiology from the University of Texas at Austin, completed in December 1981, and a medical doctorate from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, completed in May 1987. She was an intern and resident in general surgery at St. Vincent's Hospital in New York, a burn surgery fellow at Detroit Receiving Hospital at Wayne State University, and a resident in plastic surgery at Wayne State University in Detroit. She also completed cosmetic surgery training at Manhattan Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital in 1993. She was offered a cosmetic surgery fellowship there and chose private practice in Austin instead.

Her cosmetic work includes eyelifts, facelifts, neck lifts, liposuction, tummy tucks, arm lifts and fat grafting, along with breast augmentation, breast lifts, breast reductions and breast symmetry surgery. She performs in-office water-assisted liposuction with the Body Jet. She also offers Photofacials and fractional CO2 laser resurfacing for discoloration, skin looseness and fine lines, and Botox, Dysport and facial fillers including Restylane. She is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Texas Medical Association and the Austin Society of Plastic Surgeons. Awards include Best Austin Doctors in Plastic Surgery from Austin Monthly, a Patient's Choice Award, a listing among America's Top Plastic Surgeons, Castle Connolly Top Doctors and an Exceptional Women in Medicine Award. She has practiced plastic surgery in Austin, Texas longer than any other woman.
