Dr. Debra Hoffman

Dr. Debra Hoffman is the physician and hands-on injector at the Merrick practice, and she carries out every procedure personally, with no physician assistant or nurse treating patients. Her work centres on Botox, Xeomin and dermal fillers, aimed at skin rejuvenation through several treatment methods. She is a well-known injector on Long Island, with strong Botox and filler results. Cornell University conferred a Bachelor of Science on her as an honors graduate, and she also earned a Master's degree in Nutritional Sciences at NYU. She attended medical school and completed a residency and fellowship in Critical Care Medicine in 2001. She also completed a residency in Aesthetic Medicine before opening her own private practice. Earlier she practiced at Lenox Hill Hospital and subsequently on Long Island, and she has been at the Merrick location for more than 15 years. She trained and was mentored by physicians among the most prestigious in the country. She is licensed to practice medicine and surgery in New York and Florida. Her certifications come from the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine and from the Allergan Medical Institute, and she holds advanced training from the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine along with advanced aesthetic medicine training and certifications for Botox, Xeomin and dermal fillers. She teaches other doctors how to perform injectables correctly and safely, and her peers chose her as the East Coast Medical speaker for educating doctors and health professionals. Her approach begins with listening to each patient's concerns before a plan is drawn up. She favours a conservative method and a gentle injection technique, and tailors Botox treatment to each patient. Her knowledge of facial anatomy, blood supply and nerves supports safe, accurate injections.
