Dr. Debra C. Keith

Dr. Keith holds a Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) and has owned and operated Weston Family Clinic & Medical Spa as sole proprietor since 2007. Board-certified in family practice, she treats patients of all ages, from infancy through geriatric care. Her education began with a bachelor's degree in nursing from Truman University in Kirksville, Missouri, in 1978. She then studied at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, earned her D.O. in 1987, completed an internship at Lakeside Hospital, and finished a family practice residency at Trinity Lutheran Hospital in Kansas City in 1990. Her practice history includes Northland Family Health Care in Kansas City (1991 to 1996), Saint Luke's Medical in Kansas City (1996 to 2002), Weston Family Medical Center (2003 to 2006), and Genesis Medical Spa in North Kansas City (2010 to 2020). Earlier roles include Medical Director of the Platte County Health Department and team physician for the Kansas City Attack professional soccer team from 1991 to 1994. She has worked as a preceptor for medical students since 1991. Within Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, she holds an appointment as a Clinical Associate Professor of Family Medicine in its osteopathic medical college. She also serves as college physician for Park College employees and students and holds hospital privileges at North Kansas City Hospital and Saint Luke's Northland Hospital. In 2017 she sat on the Allergan Advisory Board for Therapeutic Botox migraine treatment. Her recognitions include a 2017 Women of Distinction Award, a 2006 National Leadership Congressional Committee Award, a 2006 Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce Excellence in Education Award, first place for a research poster presentation at the Academy of Family Physicians in 1990, and an Outstanding Young Woman of America award in 1987.
