Dr. David Nelson

David Nelson is a board-certified nutritionist and holistic medicine specialist at the Pure Health Encinitas location on Manchester Avenue. He has more than twenty years of nutritional and wellness coaching experience. His education includes degrees from Minnesota State and San Diego State, plus study at St. Mark's Seminary and College in Alexander, Virginia. His clinical work centers on clinical nutrition, NAET allergy desensitization and BioScan testing, and he holds NAET allergy specialist and BioScan specialist certifications. His knowledge covers herbology, homeopathy, nutrition and naturopathy, and he also works in toxicology, anti-aging strategies and sports performance enhancement. He co-hosts the radio talk show Let's Talk Health: A Second Opinion on KPRZ 1210 AM and coaches high school track and field and football. His aim is to help clients move toward optimal health and longevity.
