Dr. David Croland, DO, founded Learn2Renew and works as a consulting doctor at both locations, where he also leads the Matthews team. He is an osteopathic physician, board certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine in 1992, and certified by the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons in 2018. Before he founded the practice, he spent more than ten years performing aesthetic procedures within a family medicine practice. He has worked in aesthetic medicine since the late 1990s and has used laser and IPL devices clinically since that same period. Every injection, laser session and PRP or PRF procedure at Learn2Renew is performed by him personally, not delegated to nurses or other staff. His treatment planning starts with an assessment of skin quality, volume distribution and the degree of collagen loss. He regards regenerative collagen treatments as the core of his work, and he uses Storz Duolith focused and Zimmer Enpuls radial shockwave devices. His particular interest is men's hormone health and sexual wellness. He personally manages every hormone optimization protocol, including testosterone replacement and pellet therapy, which he prefers for most patients, as well as bioidentical hormone therapy for women. His evaluations consider symptoms, lifestyle, body composition and the full hormonal axis, including thyroid function when clinically relevant. He has offered the P-Shot at Learn2Renew since 2014. He is one of the most experienced P-Shot providers in the Charlotte region, and he was among the first physicians there to offer regenerative ED treatments.
