Dr. Danielle Solomon

Dr. Danielle Solomon founded Acupuncture Tribeca and holds licenses to practice acupuncture in New York and New Jersey. She is a Doctor of Chinese Medicine (DACM) and a licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac.), and is board certified as a Herbalist, with board certification in Chinese Herbology. She has more than 25 years of work across acupuncture, herbal medicine and integrative medicine.

Her path began with environmental science coursework at Rutgers University. She went on to a four-year Master of Science at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where she studied Eastern and Western medicine, and then earned her Doctorate in Chinese Medicine there. She also interned at the Tibetan Hospital for Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing, China, working with senior acupuncturist Dr. Wang Ju-yi.

Her clinical interests center on women's health from puberty through menopause, fertility included, along with chronic pain and stress management. Her practice draws on environmental medicine, herbal traditions from East and West, functional medicine, gua sha, stone medicine, acupuncture and facial esthetic treatments. Herbal prescriptions are built individually for each client, mixing herbs native to North America with Traditional Chinese Medicine formulas.
