About
Dr. Daniel Liebertz practices as a facial plastic surgeon at Liebertz Plastic Surgery at Yarrow Bay in Kirkland, where he is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The practice describes that dual certification as held by a select group of facial plastic surgeons in the United States. He is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and is listed with EvergreenHealth Medical Center and Overlake Hospital and Medical Center. Before entering medicine he worked in graphic design and biotechnology in the Bay Area, having earned a bachelor's in studio art with a sculpture emphasis and a bachelor's in biology from Santa Clara University. He went on to his medical degree at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, where a research year as a Dean's Research Scholar focused on the immune response to head and neck cancer. His otolaryngology residency was at Wayne State University, where he was chief resident in Head and Neck Surgery from 2014 to 2015. A fellowship in advanced facial plastic and reconstructive surgery followed at Emory University and Premier Image Cosmetic and Laser Surgery in Atlanta. He was one of 46 surgeons worldwide chosen for that Emory program, and his trainers included a founder of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His practice centers on facelifts, including short-recovery and deep plane options, along with neck lifts, mini lifts, upper and lower eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty. The site credits him with pioneering the Mid Facelift, a procedure aimed at early signs of aging in the mid-face. He has advanced training in facial injectables, and his interests include injectable fillers and BOTOX.
