About
Dr. Daniel J. Liebertz is a facial plastic surgeon at Liebertz Plastic Surgery at Yarrow Bay, a Kirkland practice, and welcomes patients from Seattle, Kirkland, Bellevue and the wider Eastside. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery and also holds certification from the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and he is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He earned his medical degree at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, where he was a Dean's Research Scholar for a year studying the immune response to head and neck cancer. His otolaryngology residency was at Wayne State University, where he served as chief resident in head and neck surgery for one year. He then completed an advanced facial plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship offered through Emory University and Premier Image Cosmetic & Laser Surgery in Atlanta, one of 46 surgeons worldwide selected for that subspecialty program. His training was under facial plastic surgeons, one of whom was a founder of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His procedures include facelifts, neck lifts, mini lifts, short-recovery and deep plane facelifts, and upper and lower blepharoplasty. Rhinoplasty work addresses cosmetic goals as well as functional concerns such as breathing problems and reconstruction after trauma, and includes revision cases. For injectables he offers BOTOX, Dysport, Sculptra, dermal fillers and Kybella, and has advanced training in facial injectables. Before medical school he earned a Bachelor of Arts in studio art with an emphasis in sculpture and a Bachelor of Science in biology, both from Santa Clara University, and then worked in graphic design and biotechnology in the Bay Area. He has affiliations with EvergreenHealth Medical Center and Overlake Hospital and Medical Center.
