Dr. Daniel Golshani

Dr. Daniel Golshani holds MD and FACS credentials and is a double board-certified plastic surgeon. He has practiced for more than two decades in Beverly Hills, at Daniel Golshani MD Plastic Surgery, also known as Avosant Beverly Hills, covering body, breast, facial cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. He also oversees the Avosant Clinic medi-spa. Languages include English, Spanish, French and Farsi. Memberships include the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Los Angeles Surgical Society, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons and the UCSF Plastic Surgeons Association.

Training began with a biology degree from UCLA, completed Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude and as a dean's scholar. At UC Irvine College of Medicine he was one of two UC Regent's Scholars. A six-year general surgery internship and residency at LA County-USC Medical Center followed, ending with the chief resident role and the hospital's chief resident teacher of the year award in 1997. Plastic and reconstructive surgery training took place at UCSF, and he later completed a reconstructive microsurgery fellowship at USC Keck School of Medicine and the Southern California Orthopedic Institute. He has co-authored published articles and given conference presentations on plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Revision surgery is a known strength, often involving correction of work done by other surgeons. His facial practice covers procedures from the neck up to the forehead, and his rhinoplasty work includes traditional, ethnic, non-surgical and reconstructive techniques. Breast procedures include augmentation, lifts, reductions and male breast reconstruction, planned with attention to both short-term appearance and long-term function. Body procedures include tummy tucks, liposuction, Brazilian butt lifts, body lifts, arm lifts, thigh lifts and mommy makeovers. He also offers sclerotherapy and hernia repair. His clinical research has addressed stem cell autologous fat grafting, minimally invasive facial aesthetic surgery, breast lift techniques, rhinoplasty and facial rejuvenation.

Each patient relationship starts with an initial consultation covering goals, a thorough exam and surgical recommendations. He helps patients prepare for surgery, supports them through recovery, and makes time to talk through concerns and answer questions. Patients come from across Los Angeles, the rest of the US and abroad.
