Dr. Corey S. Maas

Dr. Maas serves as Medical Director of Appearance Care Center and works as a facial plastic surgeon. He founded the practice in 2001 and also oversees the body contouring team. He is board-certified in facial plastic surgery by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery by the American Board of Otolaryngology.

His earlier roles include more than a decade as Chief of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at UCSF, following a fellowship in that field at the University of California, San Francisco. He founded The Maas Clinic for Aesthetic and Facial Plastic Surgery, where he practices, and created the San Francisco Rejuvenation Center, a fully accredited outpatient facility. He has directed fellowships for more than 20 years and has served as president of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the California Society of Facial Plastic Surgery.

He takes part in clinical trials of emerging technologies and is recognized for advances in facial plastic surgery and contributions to the non-surgical anti-aging field. He has been featured in San Francisco Medicine, Cosmetic Surgery Times, Vogue and Allure. He provides pro bono surgery in the US and abroad and supports charitable initiatives for children in need in the Bay Area.
