Dr. Cloe Couturier

Dr. Cloe Couturier created CranioSacralQigong and teaches it to students and healthcare practitioners. Dr. John Upledger invited her to join the Upledger Institute Clinic in 1995. She worked there for 24 years, through 2019, and spent 13 of those years working alongside him. She assisted on every course he taught and attended the last one he led. Based in Palm Beach County, she has practiced for more than 30 years and has over 30,000 hours of hands-on clinical work. Her osteopathic certification came from The British College of Osteopathy and Alternative Therapeutics, finished between 1990 and 1993, and she has more than 500 hours of classical cranial osteopathic training. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist (license MA9662, 1988). Dr. Upledger awarded her the Craniosacral Diplomate (CST-D) in 2004. In 2015 the Beijing Western District Medical Qigong Science and TCM Research Institute conferred a dual doctorate on her in Medical Qigong therapy, and China's Ministry of Health licenses her as a Doctor of Medical Qigong therapy. Her Medical Qigong study includes work with Dame Dr. Effie P. Chow, Professor Jerry Alan Johnson and other masters. Her practice centers on cranial osteopathy, craniosacral work and Medical Qigong. She teaches the Yi Qi Li framework, which covers mind intent, vital energy and potentialized health intelligence. She holds advanced Medical Qigong instructor certification (Level 3/4), Nationally Certified Integrative Practitioner status, and Clinical Nationally Certified Energy Healing Practitioner (EHP-C) credentials from the NQA, and she is listed in Marquis Who's Who. She has served on the board of directors of the National Qigong Association and has been on the faculty of the World Congress on Qigong and Integrative Health since 1997. In 1997 she presented CranioSacralQigong at the Second World Congress on Qigong, and in 2003 she spoke at the Upledger International conference Beyond The Dura. Her listed credentials are DMQ, CO, CST-D and EHP-C.
