Dr. Christy Watson

Dr. Christy Watson founded BodyBarMD and serves as its owner. She is a graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine and has more than 20 years of medical experience, including work in emergency departments across Indiana. In 2014 she opened a private practice, which grew into BodyBarMD. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a board-certified specialist in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine. She has completed advanced training and fellowships in hormone replacement therapy, and she serves as a national trainer for Alma Lasers. Her focus areas are hormone replacement therapy, medical weight loss and aesthetic treatments. For medical weight loss, she works with each patient on their goals and medical history, building a tailored program with nutritional counseling, supplements and lifestyle planning, followed by ongoing adjustments.
