Dr. Christina McGhee

Dr. Christina McGhee is an optometrist (OD) at Granite Pointe Eye Care in Roseville and is accepting new patients. Patients in the Auburn area may know her as Dr. Goodrich. She sees Spanish-speaking patients in Spanish and enjoys working with children and families.

She completed a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies at Wheaton College in Illinois in 2017, combining Spanish, chemistry and applied health science. Her undergraduate thesis looked at ocular health and nutrition in the United States and Latin America. She then earned a Doctor of Optometry with honors from Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon in 2021, with externships in primary care, ocular disease and refractive surgery.

Her clinical interests include comprehensive and pediatric eye exams, emergency eye care, treating and managing ocular disease, dry eye care, specialty contact lenses, myopia management, and macular degeneration and glaucoma management. In 2020 she received a Practice Excellence Scholarship from VSP Global and the American Academy of Optometry Foundation, recognizing clinical and academic achievement. She belongs to the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association and the Sacramento Valley Optometric Society, and is a Student Fellow of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Honor Society.
