Dr. Christina Knox

Dr. Christina Knox, a chiropractic physician (DC) in Chicago, founded Proper Balance Health & Wellness in 2006. She graduated from National University of Health Sciences in 2001 and has more than 25 years of clinical practice in the city. Her credentials include PRF Regenerative Medicine.

Her caseload covers the whole musculoskeletal system, with particular work on headaches, sciatica, disc problems, sports injuries, posture-related complaints and repetitive strain. Beyond that, her services include rehab programs, regenerative injection options, light-based therapy using red light, medical weight loss, peptide treatment and aesthetic procedures delivered to a medical standard.

New patients have an in-person first consultation lasting 45 minutes, during which she goes through a full health history centered on the patient's personal goals before any plan is drafted. Once a diagnosis is made, she designs a tailored correction plan and remains involved through to the end of treatment. She prescribes GLP-1 therapy, monitors it and adjusts it over the course of care. Before recommending a peptide plan, she reviews the patient's history and develops a personalized protocol.
