Dr. Chris Bacchi

Dr. Chris Bacchi is a physician with more than 25 years of practice and works as a physician and medical aesthetics provider at Marin Medical Aesthetics, serving clients across Marin County. Earlier career work included time at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.

Training began with a master's degree in Health and Medical Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, which included a certificate in bioethics from Cambridge University in England. She earned a medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco, then completed a residency at Stanford University, with a rotation at Queen's Hospital on Oahu. Her dermatology training was at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard, as part of that residency.

Her work pairs treatment technology with each client's concerns, whether prevention, intervention or maintenance. Every treatment begins with a comprehensive health evaluation aimed at reducing side effects, and she teaches clients how their own habits can help maintain results. She was also invited to write a chapter on topical steroids for Fitzpatrick's dermatology textbook.
