Dr. Chelsea Troiano

Chelsea Troiano founded Troiano Facial Plastics in West Palm Beach, where she practices as a facial plastic surgeon and treats patients from Palm Beach and Palm Beach County. She is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and reports six years of focused training in surgical facial rejuvenation. Her specialties are facial rejuvenation, facial feature optimization, the deep plane facelift and facial feminization procedures. The practice describes her as a female facial plastic surgeon and as a premiere facial plastic surgeon in Palm Beach, a claim that comes from the practice itself. Her medical degree is from Indiana University School of Medicine, completed with honors as an Alpha Omega Alpha awardee. Afterward she served as chief resident in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Boston University Medical Center for five years. Further training came through a facial plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship with Edward H. Farrior, MD, at Farrior Facial Plastic Surgery in Tampa, facial plastic and reconstructive surgery training at the University of South Florida with Tampa General Hospital, and a microsurgery externship at Stanford University with The Buncke Clinic in San Francisco. She also trained in facial feminization procedures with Dr. Jeffrey H. Spiegel and received onsite training with Dr. Edward Farrior after residency. Earlier, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Indiana University with honors and a liberal arts and management degree from the Kelley School of Business in Indianapolis. While at Boston University she won a CORE grant for research on e-cigarettes and wound healing. That research was published in an American Medical Association facial plastic surgery journal (JAMA), and she was invited to talk about the results at an international facial plastic surgery symposium. Her honors include a top score on the Boston University inservice exam and the Greatest Scientific Contribution in Resident Research award from Boston University, both in 2018-2019, the AAFPRS Leslie Bernstein Resident Research Grant in 2017-2018, the Triological Combined Sections Meeting Award in 2016 and the IU Foundation Scholarship for Overseas Study in 2008. She is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Florida Society of Otolaryngology, the New England Otolaryngology Society and Alpha Omega Alpha. The practice lists Botox, dermal fillers, facelifts, brow lifts, lip lifts, blepharoplasty and skin therapy treatments among its services.
