About
Dr. Charles A. Wallace is a board-certified plastic surgeon, certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and elected to Fellowship in the American College of Surgeons. Over 30 years in private practice, he has worked from his office on Dallas North Parkway. He earned a magna cum laude degree from the University of Texas at Austin and trained at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Next came a general surgery internship at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu and a general surgery residency at Baylor University Medical Center, followed by an additional year focused on hand and microsurgery at Baylor. His plastic and reconstructive surgery training was completed with the Cronin, Brauer, Biggs Clinic at St. Joseph's and M.D. Anderson hospitals in Houston. He has spent the past eight years in the United States Navy Reserve, with assignments at Navy Medical hospitals including Walter Reed, Portsmouth and, most recently, San Diego. Breast surgery and breast enhancement are his main focus, including endoscopic breast augmentation, and he also performs hand reconstruction. He has a particular interest in innovative laser and endoscopic cosmetic procedures. He teaches, writes articles on plastic surgery and speaks to both medical and lay audiences. He belongs to the Dallas County Texas Medical Association, the Society of Baylor Surgeons, the Cronin and Brauer Society, the Dallas Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Texas Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.
