Dr. Carolina Vera

Dr. Carolina Vera leads a team at the Plantation location of The Vera Medical Institute, where she serves as physician, founder and instructor. She is a licensed physician with two board certifications. She has more than 20 years in medicine, including extensive training in aesthetic medicine. Her work centers on non-surgical aesthetic care: injection-based treatments, medically supervised weight management, skin tightening, laser-based resurfacing, correction of uneven pigment, fat reduction, and skincare. She treats the skin and body as linked systems, and her plans draw on anatomy, physiology and hands-on clinical experience, with an eye toward long-term health, balance and safety. She also tests the treatments she offers on herself. She teaches the institute's aesthetic courses, and has taught thousands of practitioners across the globe. Her lessons mix theory, live sessions with patients, and ongoing mentorship for each practitioner. She welcomes patients who want personalized care or expert input on their aesthetic goals.
