Dr. Carl Pesta

Carl Pesta is a board-certified surgeon, certified since 2003, with more than 20 years of surgical experience. He works as the surgeon at Physique by Pesta and is an associate professor at Michigan State University, as well as a faculty member of the McLaren Macomb General Surgery Residency Program. He specializes in general and bariatric surgery. He is ranked among America's Best Plastic Surgeons 2024 and won the Patient Safety Excellence Award in 2023.

He completed medical education at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, an internship at McLaren Hospital, and a surgical residency at McLaren Macomb in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. He is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons (FACOS). The practice treats patients from nearby areas and farther away.

His procedures include breast augmentation, breast lifts, tummy tucks, liposuction across the abdomen, hips, thighs, arms and neck, arm and thigh lifts, and blepharoplasty for upper eyelid droop, under-eye bags and sagging lid skin.
