Dr. Bridget Kaspa

Afro Luxe Braiding Bar was founded by Dr. Bridget Kaspa, who is also its hair coach. Her academic training includes a pharmacy doctorate (PharmD) and a Master of Science (MSc) in cosmetic formulation chemistry. She works as a pharmacist, a cosmetic formulation chemist and a professional hair educator, and has over 15 years of hands-on braiding experience. She is a Certified Trichologist, a licensed trichologist and licensed scalp and hair health scientist, and the Academy's resident trichologist. Her work centres on hair biology, scalp health and protecting the follicle. She teaches the science portion of the Academy course, which covers hair biology, scalp health, tension, product selection and client consultation.
