Dr. Brianna De Souza

Brianna De Souza serves as Medical Director and aesthetic physician at Aspire MedSpa & Beauty Bar in Tampa. She is board-certified in dermatology and practices general, pediatric and cosmetic dermatology. She began her training with undergraduate study in health science and Spanish at the University of Miami, followed by a medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She completed a dermatology residency at Wake Forest School of Medicine, where she was Chief Cosmetics Resident and Chief Quality Improvement Resident, and then advanced research fellowships in hair and scalp disorders at Harvard Medical School and Wake Forest Dermatology. Her clinical work covers acne, eczema, psoriasis, hair and scalp disorders, skin of color, and pediatric and skin-cancer concerns. She is especially drawn to work with skin of color, hair loss, hair shaft disorders and hyperhidrosis. She has received the Women's Dermatologic Society Aesthetic Research Mentorship Award and the Kennedy-Hopkins Scholars Award. She holds memberships in the American Academy of Dermatology, the Skin of Color Society, the National Medical Association, the American Hair Research Society and the Women's Dermatologic Society.
