He has lectured internationally on primary and secondary rhinoplasty. He earned a B.S. in Biology from State University College at Oneonta, then studied human anatomy at NYU Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. He received his M.D. from NYU School of Medicine and completed his residency at NYU/Bellevue Hospital. He also spent considerable time in Italy studying with plastic surgeons there. He has been a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners since 1985. He was certified by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery in 1994, and by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 1995, with re-certification in 2005 and 2015. With more than 33 years in aesthetic, cosmetic and plastic surgery, he has used Botox since 1997. He belongs to the Greater Miami Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He keeps up with developments in lip augmentation, brow lifts, fat transfer and anti-aging therapeutics. Patients travel from around the world to see him for rhinoplasty.
