Dr. Bishr Al-Dabagh

Dr. Bishr Al-Dabagh founded Fora Dermatology in Mooresville, North Carolina, where he serves as owner and dermatologist. He sees patients in Mooresville and in St. Augustine, Florida, and currently works as a surgical consultant in Michigan. Earlier surgical consulting positions took him to Arizona, California, Hawaii, North Dakota, Minnesota and Illinois. He holds a faculty appointment at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and teaches dermatology residents at Orange Park Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. He has performed thousands of skin cancer procedures and has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, along with over 50 presentations at local, state and national scientific meetings. His training started at Case Western Reserve University, where he ranked first in his class and received Alpha Omega Alpha recognition. He then interned at Akron General Medical Center, where he was chosen as chief of his intern class, and completed a dermatology residency at Duke University Medical Center. He later trained in procedural dermatology and Mohs surgery at the University of California San Francisco Dermatologic Surgery and Laser Center, with advanced study in Mohs and cosmetic dermatology, and completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery, dermatologic oncology and reconstructive surgery. His practice centers on diagnosing and treating skin cancers, performing Mohs micrographic surgery and handling post-operative reconstruction.
