Dr. Beth Schulz-Butulis, DO, FAAD

Dr. Beth Schulz-Butulis founded Midtown Dermatology. She is a board-certified dermatologist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Her background includes more than twenty years of clinical and leadership work in military and civilian medical settings. She holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her dermatology residency was completed at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC, where she directed the Laser Clinic. She was also an assistant professor of dermatology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and served as chief of dermatology at Martin Army Community Hospital. Her practice covers general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Her advanced training includes laser technologies, injectables such as Botox and dermal fillers, chemical peels, and radiofrequency microneedling. She has given national presentations on pediatric dermatology, cosmetic procedures and complex medical cases, and has published peer-reviewed articles. She is affiliated with WakeMed Health and Hospitals, is a founding member of the UNC Health Care Alliance, and belongs to the North Carolina Dermatology Association and the North Carolina Medical Society.
