Dr. Atanu Biswas

Dr. Atanu Biswas is a board-certified plastic surgeon at Marietta Plastic Surgery and a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He earned a medical degree from Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University, then completed general surgery training at the University of Arizona, where he also received a master's degree (M.S.) in medical sciences. During that general surgery residency, he took part in a research fellowship focused on bioengineered skin. He finished his plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Mayo Clinic Arizona. After residency, he opened a plastic surgery practice in Phoenix, Arizona, which the business calls one of the most respected and busiest solo practices in the Phoenix valley. He later became adjunct faculty at Mayo Clinic Arizona and has served on admissions councils for the University of Arizona Graduate Medical School, the University of Arizona General Surgery Residency Program and the Mayo Clinic Plastic Surgery Residency Program. He joined Marietta Plastic Surgery after nearly 20 years in Arizona. His practice covers plastic surgery of the face, breast and body, with a specialty in awake liposuction.
