Dr. Ashley Toutounchi

Dr. Ashley Toutounchi is the Founder and Head Physician of Body by Aura. She is a board-certified physician who focuses on wellness and weight optimization. She received the TopDoc distinction in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. Her education began with an undergraduate degree from the University of North Texas, which she completed summa cum laude. She then earned a medical doctorate and completed residency training at The University of Texas in Houston, where she later served as Chief Resident at its medical center. Her work centers on individual plans: she reviews each patient's health goals, prescribes GLP-1 medications only after a full clinical review and works one on one with patients on weight loss and GLP-1 care.
