Dr. Apolinar Tiongson

Dr. Apolinar Tiongson founded SouthMain Rejuvenation Institute and its aesthetic medical practice. He opened his private practice in 1999 and has worked in aesthetic medicine since then. His medical training began with a Doctor of Medicine from Southwestern University in Cebu City, Philippines, followed by an internship in internal medicine and a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology with a special interest in dermatopathology. He later earned a diploma in dermatology in Australia and pursued independent training in aesthetic medicine. His areas of expertise include neuromodulators, dermal fillers, chemical peels, medical lasers for skin resurfacing, acne and acne scar treatment, hair removal and restoration, radiofrequency skin tightening, and cosmetic skin disorders. He is an officially trained VaserLipo provider and holds a certificate in modern liposculpture techniques from courses and surgical training in New Jersey. He also holds a board certification in aesthetic medicine. He has personally performed more than 100,000 laser procedures, more than 10,000 neuromodulator injection treatments, and a few thousand facial volumization injections with dermal fillers and implants since 1999. He has lectured and trained physicians, surgeons and nurses on skin rejuvenation, including lasers, peels, injectables and radiofrequency, and offers a preceptorship program in aesthetic medicine for medical doctors.
