Dr. Anil Shah

Dr. Anil Shah holds an MD and FACS and works as a facial plastic surgeon. He is double board-certified in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and he is certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His facial plastic surgery training took place at Cornell Hospital, NYU Hospital and Manhattan Eye, Ear, Throat Hospital. He limits his practice to the face, with particular work in rhinoplasty, facelifts and eye lifts. He also performs endoscopic lifts and offers Botox and chemical peels. Before moving his practice to Chicago in 2008, he ran a private practice on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. He is a clinical instructor at the University of Chicago, and he has been practicing for 10 years. He has authored more than 50 papers and articles on facial plastic surgery and has written research on laser treatments. He is a key opinion leader for several laser companies and serves as a national speaker for a laser company in Canada. His patients have included models, actors and other public figures whose careers depend on their appearance. He has been featured in Marquis Who's Who in America, and Best of US has named him among the best facial plastic surgeons worldwide. He aims for natural-looking results and uses minimally invasive techniques that reduce recovery time. During consultations, he uses photo imaging with morphing technology.
