Dr. Andrew Kleinman

Dr. Andrew Kleinman is a board-certified plastic surgeon with more than two decades in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He holds certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the National Board of Medical Examiners, and he is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has led the New York State Society of Plastic Surgeons as president and previously served as president of the Westchester County Medical Society. He also serves as a councilor to the Medical Society of the State of New York for Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess and Orange counties, and was elected its president in April 2014. He began his medical education at the University of Rochester Medical School after graduating Phi Beta Kappa from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He completed general surgery residencies and fellowships at Harvard Surgical Service, George Washington University Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, where he trained in reconstructive and cosmetic procedures. His plastic surgery residency took place at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, during the 1980s, where he worked alongside Frank Gerow, the creator of the breast implant. Breast augmentation and hair transplant surgery are the procedures he is known for. He also performs body contouring and facial procedures, including rhinoplasty, and has experience with both silicone and saline breast implants. His patients include many physicians and nurses, along with their friends and family. He has been listed in Castle Connolly's Top Doctors and included in Westchester WAG's Docs on Top, and he received a special award from the Westchester County Medical Society for his contributions to doctors and patients in New York.
