Dr. Andrea Arteaga

Andrea Arteaga holds a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine degree and works as a pain specialist and bodywork clinician. She founded Elemental Medicine, and her credentials are DACM and LAc. Her training came from Pacific College of Health and Science, which awarded her a doctorate in acupuncture and Chinese medicine, and she also studied at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China.

She has worked in the Department of Pain Management at Naval Medical Center San Diego, as part of a team handling both short-term and long-standing pain cases. At Naval Amphibious Base Coronado she taught Qi Gong to active-duty service members in the Functional Rehabilitative and Restoration Program. She has treated active-duty service members and thousands of patients across more than twenty years of hands-on clinical work.

Her focus is chronic pain, musculoskeletal conditions and stress-related disorders. Visits open with a conversation about each client's history, and the treatment plan is then built from that assessment.
