Dr. Amy Holda Gueye-Weinstein

Dr. Amy Holda Gueye-Weinstein founded Visionary Women's Health in Columbia, Maryland, where she serves as Medical Director. She is a board-certified integrative gynecologist and obstetrician and a Fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her training began with a biology degree and a genetics minor from Hood College, followed by a summer internship at Cambridge University in the UK and medical school at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She later earned an MPH at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, focusing on women's health and international health, and completed her OBGYN residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Earlier in her career she did genomics research at the National Cancer Institute. She also started the HALFA nonprofit foundation, which has run since 2012 and works across Africa. While still in medical school, she took part in developing a see-and-treat protocol for cervical dysplasia with colleagues in West Africa. Her clinical interests include PCOS, menopause, hormonal imbalances and endometriosis management. She created the Awakened Medicine framework, which considers mental health and subconscious patterns alongside physical symptoms. She was honored as a Top Washingtonian doctor and is a Castle Connolly Top Doctor. She belongs to the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Medical Association, has given a TEDx talk, appears on podcasts, and speaks English, French and Wolof. Patients appreciate her attentive listening and warm care.
