Dr. Amanda Turbeville Larson

Dr. Amanda Turbeville Larson is the owner and physician behind Seewee Medspa, which she founded. She is board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery and is a certified wound specialist physician with the American Board of Wound Management. She has practiced medicine since 2013, with over ten years of patient care that includes wound patients. Before opening the practice, she worked in general surgery and wound care, and she later became Medical Director of a medical spa.

Her clinical focus spans skin biology and collagen health, healthy aging and prevention, cosmetic injectables, advanced skincare, wound healing and tissue repair, regenerative aesthetics, hormonal effects on the skin, medical weight management, and whole-person wellness. She has finished training in aesthetic medicine, cosmetic injectables, and advanced skincare. Her academic path started with a biology degree from the University of South Carolina. She then earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Doctor of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina, and she also holds a Master of Health Administration from LSU Shreveport.

At Seewee, she offers dermal filler consultations and treatments, along with biostimulator treatments. She also provides physician-guided hormone replacement therapy and hormone optimization, including evaluation of testosterone concerns in men. Her surgical and wound-healing background shapes how microneedling is performed at the practice. She works with patients who want results that don't look overdone.
