About
Amanda Srisathapat owns The Acupuncture Point in South Torrance, where she practices as a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She holds the DACM credential and is a Licensed Acupuncturist in California, and she has been practicing since 2017. Her training began at Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica. She then earned a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine at Dongguk Royal University in Los Angeles and completed her doctorate at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. She received the Outstanding Intern Award from Dongguk Royal University during her internship practicals. Treatments include acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, gua sha, auricular therapy and aromatherapy, plus facial and cosmetic acupuncture for body contouring, microneedling and nanoneedling. Patients come to her for chronic pain, stress or sleep concerns. As a VA Community Care provider, she has served veterans for more than nine years, and that work covers PTSD, trauma, chronic pain, sleep disorders and transition-related stress. She considers sleep, stress, diet and emotional health alongside the symptoms a patient reports. Seasonal wellness check-ups are recommended, and she usually starts with weekly sessions before spacing visits out. Visits are by appointment only, take place in private rooms, and are never double-booked. About 80% of patients feel improvement after one visit.
