Dr. Aman Samrao, MD

Dr. Aman Samrao, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and the owner physician of DermMaven MD. Board certified by the American Board of Dermatology in 2014, the physician completed a dermatology residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center that same year and holds a subspecialty in hair loss.

The physician earned an undergraduate degree in molecular and cell biology at the University of California, Berkeley, and an MD at the University of Southern California. Clinical research fellowships followed: one in the dermatology department at UCSF studying hair loss, and one at Oregon Health and Science University running clinical trials across a range of skin disorders. At Kaiser Permanente in the Central Valley, the physician served as Chief of the Department of Dermatology, and was one of three hair loss sub-specialists in the Northern California region there, continuing hair loss research. The physician left Kaiser at the end of 2022 and now practices privately. The physician has over a decade of clinical experience.

The focus is accurate diagnosis and treatment of skin and hair disease, alongside aesthetic goals approached in ways that keep a patient's natural features. The physician plans and performs all Botox injections at the practice, using a conservative technique aimed at natural-looking results, and has years of injection experience.
