Dr. Alicia Burke

Dr. Alicia Burke is a Doctor of Chiropractic who graduated cum laude with a doctorate from Life Chiropractic College West in San Francisco. She has been involved with chiropractic since 1999 and has practiced for more than two decades. Earlier in her career she was an associate clinical professor at Southern California University of Health Sciences, and in April 2008 she spoke at the 1st Nutristhetic Symposium at the Louvre Museum in Paris.

Her clinical background covers post-surgical rehabilitation, pain management and wellness care. She has worked with pain management centers in Orange County and Los Angeles, contributed to pain management and patient rehabilitation at Pacifica Hospital, and provided post-surgical care at an orthopedic clinic. Her focus includes sports injuries, family wellness, auto and work-related injuries, and pregnancy care. She has experience stabilizing displaced spinal discs using the flexion-distraction technique. She received an Excellence in Clinic Award for Outstanding Patient Care from Life Chiropractic College West in 1999, and was named Chiropractic Student of the Year there in 1997.

She works with patients and athletes of all skill levels, building each treatment plan around the individual. She keeps current through regular health talks, courses and seminars on chiropractic advances.
