About
Dr. Alex, DNP, founded Blonde Girl Aesthetics and provides care for every appointment across all three offices, personally treating each client. Her training began at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, New Jersey, where she earned a BSN. She later completed a master's and a doctorate at Florida International University, with doctoral research on encouraging sun-safe habits among racially diverse groups. Her career began in New Jersey. After seven years in hospital settings, she moved into aesthetic medicine, working two years in corporate aesthetic medicine and two years in private plastic surgery, then four years as an independent practice owner before launching Blonde Girl Aesthetics. Across more than a decade in medicine, she has done extensive hair restoration work, a skill she developed during her years in plastic surgery, and she oversees the medical weight loss plans. Her specialties are tox, dermal fillers, biostimulators, skin treatments and medical-grade skincare, with a particular focus on acne care. She uses Botox, Dysport and Xeomin, and specializes in hyaluronic acid fillers and whole-face filler plans, including dissolving filler with Hylenex. Before treating any one area, she looks at the whole face, including proportion and how light falls across it, and she is direct about which areas are worth treating now and which can wait. Her plans focus on prevention, such as timing treatments early and using daily sun protection, and she walks each patient through what a product does, why it is advised and what would happen if they chose no treatment.
