Dr. Adam Aronson, MD

Dr. Adam Aronson, MD, practices as a dermatologist and Mohs surgeon at Beach Cities Dermatology, concentrating on the surgical treatment of skin cancers. He is board certified in dermatology and in Mohs micrographic surgery and holds fellow status with both the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Surgery. He earned a B.S. in Biological Sciences magna cum laude at the University of Southern California, where he was also elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He went on to receive his M.D. from Washington University in St. Louis, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. He spent one year in plastic surgery training at the Medical College of Wisconsin before completing a dermatology residency at the University of Iowa, where he took part in research and publishing. During that residency, he was selected for the national Rising Derm Stars resident research competition. He completed an ACMS-accredited fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and procedural dermatology, including facial cosmetic surgery, in New Zealand. He won the ACMS Fellows-in-Training Clinicopathologic Case Competition. His clinical interests include high-risk skin cancers, reconstructive surgery following skin cancer treatment, and anti-aging research. He is bringing this experience to the Irvine office.
