Dr. A. Ahmadi

Dr. Ahmadi is a board-certified plastic surgeon at Avante Plastic Surgery in Sugar Land, Texas, and also practices in Houston. He is on staff at Memorial Hermann and Methodist Hospital. He has treated more than 30,000 patients over 22 years and has more than 22 years of experience in plastic surgery. He has also published in the field.

His training began with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin (1987-1991), followed by a Doctor of Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine (1991-1995). He completed a general surgery residency at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center (1995-2000) and a plastic surgery residency at CHRISTUS St. Joseph Hospital (2000-2002).

He holds certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery, dated November 2003, and from the American Board of Surgery, dated September 2001. He is double board-certified. His practice covers cosmetic work on the breasts, body, face and for men. Body work includes LipoTuck, tummy tucks and liposuction, and facial work includes facelifts, rhinoplasty and eyelid surgery. He created the LipoTuck procedure.
