Dov founded Dov Hair & Wigs, where he works as a hair artist and wig stylist. The studio describes him as a hair color specialist and master cutter, and his work includes designing and constructing custom wigs and hairpieces. He started making wigs at age 20 in New York City. Early on, he collaborated closely with designers in the city's fashion scene. His editorial work has appeared in Vogue, Italian Vogue, Self, Elle and Town & Country. He has worked on Thierry Mugler campaigns, including the Angel perfume campaign, and has styled runway looks for Karl Lagerfeld, Fendi, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Tommy Hilfiger and Michael Kors. His set work covers television, award shows and fashion events, including the VH1/Vogue Fashion Awards, as well as style segments for ABC and NBC. He also takes part in beauty exposés and platform performances. He trained under respected educators in international beauty. Before creating a wig, he gets to know each client's sense of beauty and style. He aims for pieces that feel comfortable and familiar yet offer something new.
