Dondra Burton

Dondra Burton is the owner of HSG Healthy Hair, where she works as a trichologist and stylist. Her education includes a 2004 bachelor's in business management from Prairie View A&M University and a 2018 master's in education from Ashford University, which she completed while teaching at a public school and styling hair. She trained at Tint School of Makeup and Cosmetology and holds a cosmetology license. Her credentials include licensed cosmetology instructor, Advanced Hair Loss Specialist and Certified Trichologist. Before launching the business, she taught in a public school. She began Hair Sew Gorgeous in 2020, selling medical grade wigs, hair extensions and products. Her approach centers on the underlying cause of hair and scalp conditions and on treatments meant to wake up follicles. As a non-physician, she reviews blood work, gives treatments, and refers clients to a physician when treatment will not be effective. Clients book through Vagaro.
