Don Griffin

Dr. Don Griffin is a plastic surgeon certified by two specialty boards and the owner of Nashville Cosmetic Surgery. He opened the practice in Nashville in 1998, after completing his fellowship training, and has run it since. He has more than thirty years of surgical experience and also directs the Skin Lounge team, which selects treatments for each patient. He earned his degree summa cum laude at Louisiana State University, then took his medical degree and his general surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery was completed at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He holds board certification from the American Board of Surgery in general surgery and from the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and he is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is one of fewer than one in five cosmetic surgeons who hold dual board certification. His cosmetic work covers the face, breast and body, and he tailors surgical planning for male patients. He is known for body lift surgery, including multi-area procedures for patients who have lost a large amount of weight. He often speaks on laser use in facial and body rejuvenation. Plans are shaped around each patient's own goals, with subtle changes favored over dramatic ones. He is recognized as a Top Doctor and Best Plastic Surgeon and is on the RealSelf Top 100 list.
