Dom owns DomSoDope Natural Haircare Salon and works there as a stylist. She believes beautiful styling and healthy hair should support each other rather than compete.

She works with clients who wear loose natural hair and with clients who maintain locs. Some clients prefer that she lead their care, while others want more guidance between appointments. For locs, she watches how they are developing and may recommend cleansing between retwists, scalp care, or longer stretches between visits instead of more frequent retwists.
