Dina

Dina is a hair and makeup artist and the owner of the salon, and she created the DKM Cosmetics makeup line. Her career started with makeup in 2006, and she later added hair to her work. She trained at Capri Institute in Paramus, NJ, and completed a two-day bridal course with Martin Parsons called The King of Updos. She also took dry cutting classes at the John Sahag workshop on Madison Avenue, Shannel Mariano's Visual Haircutting class, and Candy Shaw's balayage class. Further training includes bridal styling at the International Beauty Show, a PulpRiot color class and the BehindTheChair show. She holds a Coppola Keratin Certification. For three years she was a Pravana educator, teaching in salons and stores. She also led a 40-hour makeup seminar for makeup artists in San Francisco, Sacramento, San Jose, Miami, Philadelphia and New York City. Her film, music video, wedding and makeup counter work includes one movie and several music videos. She styled Deena Cortese's hair for Jenni Farley's wedding, has done hair styling for the iHeart Radio team, and works regularly with the team on The Elvis Duran Show and with radio host Delilah.
