About
Dimitrios Nicolaou is a haircutting artist at DASS and has been in the hair industry since he was seven. His work has taken him to photo shoots and shows, and his photography has been published in magazines internationally.
His training spans several houses. He trained with stylists from Garren and Glemby International, and with directors and stylists from Original Sassoon, including Roger Thompson, Charles Booth, Mark Papino, and Peter Scagleone. He also trained in French technique with Harlow, Carita, and Jean Louis David, and in dry cutting with John Sahag. Don Shaw, the founder of DASS, is among his mentors.
He has developed his own haircutting technique and designs each cut around the individual, aiming for a signature look that stays current.
