Diane Higgins

Diane Higgins is the founder of Diane Higgins Skincare and a licensed esthetician who performs the facials herself in the New York City studio. She started her skincare career as a Beauty Consultant for Clarins and has worked with clients since the 1980s, describing more than thirty years of experience as a facialist and natural product formulator. Her clientele has grown largely through referrals and recommendations. Her training includes studying internal herbal remedies and Face Reality acne diagnosis and treatment protocols. She is an acne specialist who diagnoses and treats many types of acne, and she also works with sensitive skin. Extractions are her specialty, and she aims to be thorough without traumatizing the skin. Her approach is quiet and non-judgmental. She formulates products that she uses on clients, often using plant ingredients such as kojic acid and arbutin, and her line is made in an apothecary combining enzymes, proteins, retinols and anti-aging plant ingredients such as bakuchiol. Clients can expect a 90-minute session that mixes hands-on work with high-tech treatments.
