Desrene Brown

Desrene Brown is the Medical Director of LX Gynecology and a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), and her listed credentials are MD and FACOG. Her focus areas include pelvic health and reconstructive surgery, menopause and hormone therapy, well-woman care and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.

She trained at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where she earned an M.D. in 1995, and completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Harlem Hospital Center in New York from 1995 to 1999, through Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons. She is licensed to practice medicine in New York and Ohio and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

She performs medical gynecology, pelvic surgery and cosmetic gynecology personally, and these treatments are not delegated. She also works in cosmetic and feminine wellness and physician-supervised weight management, and provides medical oversight for the LX Med Spa treatments. Other doctors trust her with their most complex women's health cases.
