Dennis Lee

Dennis Lee is a master hair stylist at Dennis Lee Hair, working in Newport Beach, California. He has more than 25 years in the field as a hair designer and stylist. He started at his uncle's salon, Allen Edwards Salon, where he spent his first eight years, then nine years at Salon Gregories in Newport Beach. He later worked at Gods & Heros Salon at South Coast Metro and in Newport Beach, and at Armando Joshua Christopher Salon in Newport Beach.

He received training in fine arts at San Diego State University and is board certified for keratin treatments. His focus includes balayage, blonding and corrective color. He works with curly hair, cutting and styling it, and he builds haircuts on geometry and multi-dimensional color. Up-dos and wedding parties are a specialty, from sophisticated and elegant styles to edgier or playful looks for special events.

He styles hair for both women and men and has cut, colored and styled hair for celebrities and community clients, including hairstyling for The Royal Princess of Saudi Arabia. His photo shoot and hair show work includes covers of Orange Coast Magazine and work for Passion Magazine and Stylist Magazine. He did hair for the short film Les Bois, filmed in Utah, and for a Too Faced Makeup mascara commercial with Kandee Johnson in 2014. He was featured in a lifestyle segment on NBC's Studio 5 with Brooke Walker in June 2022 and is represented by the Utah Film Commission. He received the title Top Hairstylist of Southern California in the 2015 Making the Cut competition, placing first among about 1,200 stylists in LA, OC and SD.
