About
Denise Gevaras is the owner and makeup artist at Makeup Artistry by Denise in Toms River. She is a licensed esthetician and a licensed New Jersey makeup artist, with more than fifteen years in the beauty industry. Earlier in her career she worked as a Chanel makeup artist and has worked for various cosmetic lines.
Her work covers bridal, special events, print, TV, video and airbrush makeup. She has freelanced for photographers, models and video production companies, and for Close-up TV News. She works as a freelance makeup artist for a local TV studio and was for several years the key makeup artist for a cable TV station. She was also selected as the makeup artist for Miss Oregon at the 2018 Miss America preliminary pageants in Atlantic City, working backstage with the contestant.
She enjoys bridal work and has worked with hundreds of brides and their bridal parties.
