Denise Baylous MSN, RN-C

Denise Baylous is co-founder and co-owner of Smithfield Aesthetics in Smithfield, Virginia. She has been a registered nurse for more than 35 years, with experience in cardiac and open heart surgery, neurological and surgical intensive care, the emergency room, and as a flight nurse. She has also managed Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance since 2003.

Her training includes a nursing diploma from Mount Carmel School of Nursing in 1990, followed by a BSN in 2006 and an MSN in 2009, both from the University of Phoenix. She holds certification in critical care and flight nursing and is a nationally registered paramedic. From 2006 to 2012 she was an adjunct professor at Old Dominion University.
