Demetri Arnaoutakis

Demetri Arnaoutakis is a facial plastic surgeon and the doctor at the practice's Tampa office in Tampa, Florida. He is credentialed by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He also serves as Medical Director for Elan Aesthetics, a local medical spa. He began his training at Columbia University, where he graduated cum laude with a degree in Biological Sciences, and then went on to the University of Florida College of Medicine. Through a Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship, he spent a year at Johns Hopkins Hospital researching head and neck cancer reconstruction. His five-year Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency took place at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where he was Chief Resident at Parkland Memorial Hospital. A one-year facial plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at the Lasky Clinic in Beverly Hills, under Dr. Andrew Frankel, followed. He graduated medical school with Honors in Research and received the George T. Singleton Prize for excellence in Head and Neck Surgery. Facelifts, including the deep plane technique, are his main focus, and he performs an average of 4 to 6 per week. He has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and has lectured at over 100 conferences, often on facelift technique. He is an active member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and often invites fellow doctors and residents to observe his facelift surgery. He is part of the Persana and Haute Beauty Network surgical networks. Tampa Magazine voted him top facial plastic surgeon in Tampa, and he is recognized as one of the best facelift surgeons in the country.
